Dense City As Home

The city where I was born is fully packed with apartments and they have mostly rectangular shapes with facades of uniform windows. This kind of surroundings could be desolate and stuffy to some people but to me, it creates the atmosphere of 'Home'. It is quite amazing that this artificial and contradictory place, where the shadows of the buildings darken the surroundings during the day and the streetlight and lights from windows brighten the streets all night, can become cozy to the people living there.
